Where it all began
Year 1: Hersh and Michael meet at a wellness trade show on opposite sides of the aisle, selling competing products.
Day 3: End up at the same beach bar. Instant friendship.
Year 2: Both independently discover red light therapy — Hersh for his back, Michael for his shoulder.
One phone call: "We have to do something with this." BioGlow is born. 🔴
Hersh and Michael were never supposed to be partners. They were competitors at a trade show in Honolulu — convinced their own approach was right and both insufferable about it.
Then the show floor closed, everyone ended up at the same beach bar, and somewhere between rounds they realized they shared a frustration — the most powerful wellness technologies in the world were locked behind walls most people couldn't get through.
Light therapy entered both their lives separately. Hersh had a chronic lower back issue. Michael had a rotator cuff his doctors said he'd "just have to live with." Red light therapy changed both of their lives. They got on a call: "Did you know a Nobel Prize was awarded for this in 1903?"
Neither had a good answer for why nobody knew. So they decided to do something about it.
